Online bingo; how do I get started?

First and foremost, it is essential that you find the bingo room which is the right one for you. Of course, choosing the `right´ bingo room is a highly individual thing. It is by no means certain that your friends, your family or your neighbour share your idea of what the `perfect´ bingo room should be like.

What does the term `wager´ mean?

When receiving bingo bonuses, you are bound to come across the term `wager´. If you are playing without a bonus, there will be no wager demand.

But let´s get down to business! When you make a deposit at an online bingo room, you may, for example, receive a 200 % bonus from the bingo room. This means that if you deposit £ 10, the bingo room will give you another £ 20, so that you have a total of £ 30 to play for. However, this money cannot be withdrawn right away, because then the bingo room would have put $ 20 in your wallet, entirely free of charge! If all players withdrew their bonus money right away, this could end up a rather costly affair to the bingo room.

Therefore, bingo rooms require you to `wager´ your money (`play it through´) a certain number of times, before you are able to receive the money. Just like the bonus arrangements themselves, wager demands (number of times that you have to play the amount through) vary from one bingo room to the other.

Let us return to the example above. If the wager demand is ten times, the calculation looks as follows: £ 10 x 10= $ 200. This means the bingo room requires you to play for £ 200, before you are able to withdraw your bonus.
